http://dschmaldienst.edublogs.org CFF Information, updates, and resources Thu, 13 Nov 2008 14:55:14 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.8.2 en hourly 1 http://dschmaldienst.edublogs.org/2008/09/02/google-gets-in-the-browser-game/ http://dschmaldienst.edublogs.org/2008/09/02/google-gets-in-the-browser-game/#comments Wed, 03 Sep 2008 00:34:46 +0000 dschmaldienst http://dschmaldienst.edublogs.org/?p=17 Google has done it once again….They now have released a beta (test) version of an internet browser.   Their new browser is called Chrome and actually performs somewhat faster than Internet explorer and Mozilla Firefox in some applications.   I don’t recommend that you install this software on your school computer since it is still in beta (test), but if you want to try it on your personal computer give it a go.  It has excellent integration with google maps, gmail, and google docs.  The interface is excellent as well and very user friendly.  I think we will hear much more about Google Chrome over the next several months.  Can it overtake Internet Explorer or Firefox?  Only time will tell.  Stay Tuned!   http://www.google.com/chrome for more information
